Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon finely grated raw beet
  • 1/2 cup cooked oats
  • 1 cup uncooked oats
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup almonds, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon vegex or McKays “Beef” flavored seasoning
  • 1/4 cup minced green pepper,
  • 1/4 cup celery
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon bazil
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon food yeast flakes (optional)

Directions:

Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Form into patties and fry or grill until cooked through 4-6 minutes. Serve with accompaniments as desired-lettuce, tomato, tofu-mayo, non-dairy cheese, pickles, onion, etc.
